Sample Itinerary

DAY 1:  DEPART FOR IRELANDCeltic Cross

DAY 2:  COBH & KILLARNEY
Arrive in Shannon and travel to Cobh for Mass at the Cathedral. Then, visit the site where the Titanic departed as well as the Immigrant Museum. Travel by motor coach to Killarney before checking into your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Killarney.

DAY 3:  RING OF KERRY
Full day tour of the Ring of Kerry, a 100-mile journey where every turn of the road offers a new and wonderful view of mountains, lakes, valleys and hidden harbors. Travel via Killorglin, Cahirciveen, Waterville and Sneem.  Visit Muchross House and Gardens. Return to Killarney.  Dinner and overnight in Killarney.

DAY 4:  KILLARNEY & KNOCK
After breakfast, have Mass at the Cathedral of Killarney. Drive to Listowel and Tarbet, and take the ferry to Killimer.  Continue on to Galway and the Cliffs of Moher.  Enjoy a city tour and visit the Cathedral before going to Knock.  Dinner and overnight in Knock.

DAY 5:  KNOCK
We begin our day with a visit to Ballintubber Abbey, later you will have the opportunity to visit  Ireland’s National Marian Shrine.  Visit the Basilica of Our Lady Queen of Ireland, Make the Way of the Cross on the Shrine’s Calvary, and visit the Knock Folk Museum. Free time for prayer and reflection in the Chapel of Reconciliation. Dinner and overnight in Knock.

Full day tour of Connemara, set in the heart of the Connemara Mountains is the Kylemore Abbey, home of the Irish Benedictine Nuns.  Visit the picturesque Abbey and enjoy a stroll to the beautifully restored Gothic Church. Picnic at Croagh Patrick, Ireland’s Holy Mountain.  Dinner and overnight in Knock.

DAY 7:  KNOCK & DUBLIN
Travel to Dublin with a stop at Clonmacnoise, a monastic site overlooking the River Shannon. The extensive ruins include a cathedral, castle, round tower, numerous churches, two important high crosses and a large collection of early Christian grave slabs.  Dinner and overnight in Dublin.

DAY 8:  GLENDALOUGH
This morning you will travel to Glendalough, “The Glen of two lakes.” There, you will visit St. Kevin’s Shrine, which is a very significant site of the early Christians.  Dinner and overnight in Dublin.

DAY 9:  DUBLIN
Visit the Trinity College to view 
the Books of Kells, St. Patrick’s Cathedral and Christchurch Cathedral.  Continuing to  Wellington Memorial.  Free afternoon.  
Celebrate a farewell dinner.  Overnight in Dublin.

DAY 10:  IN TRANSIT
Transfer to airport.  We conclude our travels and return home to share the graces of our pilgrimage.
